The stillness of naptime...

...is here. Ahhh. :) All three of my kids are asleep (swimming really wears them out!) so here I am again with a couple more cards!

Once again, I played along with a challenge from the fabulous Melissa Phillips. Here is her sketch, and my card...

something about ovals makes me think elegant...when I saw the oval on Melissa's sketch, I knew that that's what I wanted to go for. If you want to do Melissa's sketch challenge, you have to hurry! It ends tomorrow!

This next card is for Kazan's sketch at the 2 Sketches 4 you site:

I just love this fun new card blog! It's so exciting to see how many people are playing along! And the talent is amazing! So, did you try out for the DT?? I did! Can't wait to see who they will pick!

CS: SU, CS lace: KI, PP: Melissa Frances, Stamps: Rhonna Farrer (Autumn Leaves), unknown jewels and ribbon.

Lastly, just wanted to let you know that Daisy Bucket Designs is now accepting applications for guest designers. For all of the details on how to apply, look here. Have fun and good luck!

Wow Katie I love this card and the opening to show the sentiment is divine. I agree with you 100% there is no calm like the calm of naptime :)

Hi Katie,

I just wanted to thank you for your visit to my blog and your sweet comment! Also, I wanted to let you know that my favorite place to shop is the Daisy Bucket store. We live about 30 miles from there in Kennewick so DH and I plan, every once in a while, a trip down. I shop and he sits in the area where the tables are and reads his book.

Lastly, I want to say that your work is absolutely lovely. I don't know if it will help any but I am rooting for you to make DT at 2S4U!!!!!

Wishing you the best....Glee
