Good Morning!

Here are a couple of flowery cards I have made recently...I am really looking forward to the green and flowers that the Spring will bring! Not to mention the warm :) Ahh.

This card started off based on last week's CPS sketch. However, it sort of evolved into something different. It was a great sketch though, I loved it!

Petersen-Arne CS, BG PP, Fancy Pants pins, CTMH tag, Melissa Frances rub on.

Next, is my card for Sketch This! I struggled at first with what my interpretation of the sketch was going to be. I had a completely different card which I put together, took apart and then put together again. Eventually I scrapped the whole thing! Haven't done that in a while. Anyway, then I came up with this:

I was much happier with this attempt :)

SEI (pink) CS, BG PP, Wrights trim, BG chipboard flower and rub on, Mark Richards pearls.

I'd better run....it's almost time for me to go pick up my little man from preschool.

Have a great day~

Yesterday I was so sick...picked up something that my daughter got earlier in the week. YUCK! So glad that today is a new day and that I am feeling better!

Before I came down with whatever it was that I had, I made this card based on Laura's newest sketch over at 2S4Y:

Supplies: American Crafts CS, Collage Press PP, Making Memories letter stickers and Prima flower.
That's all I have to share today. Hope you are all managing to stay healthy.
Make sure to check my previous post for my eye candy...in case you missed it :)

A Wish and My Valentine :)

Hi there...I hope you are having a good week so far. I was up all night with my baby girl. Poor thing was so sick. I hope she'll be feeling better when she wakes up from her nap this afternoon...and that she won't get sick again. Yuck.

Well, here is a cheery little card I made for Melissa Phillip's a girl and her bag challenge....I didn't get around to making it until after the time was up, but I still wanted to play along! It was a fun challenge and Melissa's blog/work is always so inspiring for me.

Supplies: Hambly transparency paper and CS, Rusty Pickle and Pink Paislee PP's, Creative Impressions ribbon, AC rub on and the button is from my stash.
I also wanted to share a picture of my man with you. I have to say...I feel terrible! This picture is from last July....and it's with the kids! I really need to take more pictures of him. Anyway, over at 2S4Y, Laura and Kazan are doing a blog candy giveaway for eye candy.....so here he is:

my Valentine :) I love you Babe!
I'm hoping to play with Laura's sketch soon too. I hope you all play along with the eye candy game too....I'd love to see your man!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a good one!

Nothing much going on....

My husband works long hours this time of year (he's a CPA) so usually I am a busy little card maker but I haven't made anything in the last few days! I've been too busy getting absorbed in the new season of American Idol. :) Tonight, though, I'm going to make (at least) a card...I'm feeling that crafty bug...you know what I mean?

I do have my Sketch This card to share with you today:

It's based on Janelles 77th sketch. I LOVED all of the different cards and LO's this week from the DT....great stuff! You can see them here if you haven't already!
Supplies: Sassafras Lass PP, Chipboard and Cardstock sticker; Martha Stewart border punch; May Arts ribbon and Making Memories letter stickers.
Well, I'm done just in time...my DS just got home from school! Off to get him a snack and chat about his day.

Supplies: SEI and SU Cardstock, Basic Grey Chipboard and Patterned Paper, Maya Road flowers, Wright's trim, Martha Stewart glitter and Daisy Bucket Designs chipboard letter.
Today the new DT was announced at 2S4Y...looks like a group of seriously talented girls! I am looking forward to all of their creations over the next few months.
