This card started off based on last week's CPS sketch. However, it sort of evolved into something different. It was a great sketch though, I loved it!
Petersen-Arne CS, BG PP, Fancy Pants pins, CTMH tag, Melissa Frances rub on.
Next, is my card for Sketch This! I struggled at first with what my interpretation of the sketch was going to be. I had a completely different card which I put together, took apart and then put together again. Eventually I scrapped the whole thing! Haven't done that in a while. Anyway, then I came up with this:
I was much happier with this attempt :)
SEI (pink) CS, BG PP, Wrights trim, BG chipboard flower and rub on, Mark Richards pearls.
I'd better run....it's almost time for me to go pick up my little man from preschool.

Pretty flowery cards Kate! I haven't completely trashed a card in a bit but I totally know what you mean about some ideas just don't work. I think these are lovely. I like the flower lace you used on the second card a lot!

I love that 2nd one too! beautiful! are you hand stitching your cards?? or just doubling up on the thread in your machine?? I love the way it looks. When my scrap room is back together I think I am going to try my hand at some card sketches for fun ;)
Oh Ms. Katie! You don't know about CKC? It is the Creating Keepsake Scrapbook Convention! Lotsa classes on cardmaking and scrapbooking, crops and my favorite...the vendor faire. The lower level of the Portland Convention Center full of booth after booth of retailers and manufacturers! Good times!
