In a week and a half we are going camping to our favorite camp ground and I'm so excited!! Can't wait to roast some s'mores, take bike rides and play by the ocean :) Ahhh. So, what's your favorite food to eat outdoors? I always take cookies, of course, as well as tons of other snack foods but I am also looking for some fun new ideas for our actual meals. Have any great suggestions for me?

and i love camping... it's so exciting! i love eating chicken soup with cheese and crackers, and a lemon-lime soda... it's good for a hot day after running around playing games/ splashing in the pool.

When we camp we make something called hobo stew. You start by crumbling hamburger into a double layer of tinfoil and then seasoning with S, P & Worcestershire. From there you add diced potatoes , onions, carrots, canned corn...pretty much anything you have on hand and want to add. Then you just throw it on the grill and cook it until the taters are soft. It actually turns out pretty good and the kids like it b/c they can make it their own way!
